An introductory class for digital photographers who want get started
on the right foot with Adobe Lightroom. The basics of file system
organization, and understanding the benefits of using Lightroom vs. an
ordinary file browser. In this class we will also outline a very
simple backup and archive strategy for your growing digital library.
Instructor -- George Jardine
George Jardine took his degree in commercial photography and worked as
a professional photographer for over 10 years. His work has appeared
in Sports Illustrated, Better Homes and Gardens, Interior Design
magazine, and many other national publications. He has photographed
food, fashion, architecture and sports, including work for the NFL and
NBA, before "going digital". Following that, George joined the digital
revolution, joining Adobe Systems in 1993. As Digital Video Evangelist
for Adobe, George taught seminars and workshops in Premiere, After
Effects and Photoshop. In 2002, he began work on the Shadowland
project, which is now Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. George currently
teaches Lightroom and digital photography workshops, and produces
complete online video training courses for Lightroom that can be found
