This will be a camera building, photo taking and development workshop in preparation for Worldwide Pinhole Day April 28th. Participants will learn how to make cameras and learn the basics of Black and White chemical photography by shooting and developing their own images around the beautiful grounds of the Zang Mansion.
Instructor -- Jessie Paige
Jessie Paige’s large-scale black and white photographs investigate the human condition through her relationship with the landscape, family and home. Paige earned her MFA in Studio Arts/Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and her BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design where she was also the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award in Photography. Paige has exhibited her work nationally and recently was a Visiting Artist at Wichita State University. Paige lives with her family in Denver, Colorado where she teaches art at the University of Colorado-Denver and the University of Denver and also serves
on the Advisory Board for the Colorado Photographic Arts Center.
