Professional artist Jessica Ramage (BFA Photography 2003-Cleveland Institute of Art; MA Art Education 2004-Case Western Reserve University) will share her knowledge of wheel-throwing and sculpture in a positive and nurturing environment. Students will learn how to successfully incorporate their hand-building skills and new wheel-throwing skills to create one-of-a-kind sculptures and utilitarian pieces. Each session within the course will focus on a specific theme, helping students to really explore their ideas and imagination culminating in a unique body of work at the end of the course.
