Color concepts and terms will be demystified through discussion and handouts on color mixing. This class will eliminate hesitation about how to use color in your work and help express the message and mood that support your work. Unique color palettes will be developed and sketchbook archived for your future use.

Color wheel (The Color Wheel Company) 9 inch size
Watercolor spiral Wire bound Sketchbook. Pages should be thick enough tp paint on without bleeding through and buckling. Size: closest to 9"x12"
Golden brand fluid acrylic paint set of 10: Benzimidazolone yellow medium, Burnt Sienna, Carbon Black, Phthalo Blue (Green Shade), Phthalo Green (Blue Shade), Pyrrole Red, Quinacridone Magenta, Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, and Yellow Oxide in 1 oz. bottles
Palette knife-inexpensive plastic
Disposable palette paper pad. Size 9"x12". freezer paper also works
3/4" flat paintbrush
Spray bottle for water
Paper towels or old cloth rags
Container for water
Scissors
Pencil
