This workshop will introduce students to using basic pen and ink marks of hatching, cross hatching, contour lines, and stippling to create shading, texture, and volume in objects. After being acquainted with this medium through exercises and examples, we'll have open drawing time of some objects from nature, with instructor input and assistance. The workshop will contain an information sheet for students to keep, with all content that's covered summarized.
