For al levels of artists looking to grow and hone their drawing skills in the classic tradition of figure drawing. Instructional emphasis will be placed on gesture, line, shapes, structure, and value to explore and capture the expressive nature of the figure in a variety of poses. Students will also receive individualized attention and critiques in a relaxed studio atmoshpere. Most importantly, students will have the opportunity to enjoy the process of drawing while exploring creativity and self-expression.

18 x 24 newsprint or Sketch Pad
Drawing Board
Vine or Willow Charcoal Drawing Sticks
Kneaded eraser

Students are encouraged to bring and use their preferred drawing surfaces and materials for class.
