Illustrator/Graphic Artist John Plymak is excited to offer this 3-week class which will cover popular black and white drawing media of graphite, charcoal, and pen and ink. Each class will focus on the unique properties of 1 medium, as well as traditional drawing fundamentals, including design, composition, measuring, proportion, and tips for simplifying complex objects. This class will draw from direct observation as well as photo references, and include discussion/critique.

Please bring these materials first day of class: Set of graphite pencils, set of charcoal sticks (pressed and vine charcoal), set of Micron Pens, drawing pad, kneaded eraser.
