Collage, from the French verb coller, means to "glue" is the artistic process of gluing and assembling various materials to a flat surface; but is that where it ends? What steps can one take to elevate their pasted paper masterpiece? What mediums and materials can an artist use to create a photomontage that enters the three-dimensional realm of assemblage or the world of the viewer in the form of an installation.

In this course not only will the artist learn the basics of collage, but how to take their masterpieces in a new and creative direction conceptually and through material usage.
