This exciting course includes themed projects such as natural forms, still life, landscape, personal expression, imagination, sensitivity, conceptual thinking and powers of observation and analytical thinking. Build up your portfolio. Learn new techniques and gain confidence in handling a wide variety of art materials. Drawing in pencil, ink, charcoal and pastel and painting in watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil will all feature, as well as mixed media, collage, sculpture, lens based media and graphic design. As each student gains in confidence, they will be encouraged to work on a more ambitious scale and with a greater degree of independence.
