Students will use a picture of their pet as reference as they trace and carve a likeness onto a slab of clay. The following week students will paint their slabs. Painting techniques are intentionally abstract and loose, so students don't feel intimidated by the thought of painting a portrait onto clay. Please bring a photo of your pet/animal to class printed on at least 5x7 copy paper, no larger than 8x11. Completed pieces will be hanging works of art!

We understand that schedules can change. If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, please give us a call to notify the instructor.
Our instructors prepare projects and materials in advance, so a quick heads-up helps us plan accordingly and is always greatly appreciated!
