Course Description

We will explore the use of a broad (1 1/2" - 2") flat brush to create rich and varied washes as well as floral and geometric images. This approach will maximize use of kinetic properties of the watercolor medium. please not that class is for Intermediate /Advanced students

Required Supplies

One good quality flat synthetic brush, either 1 1/2" or 2" across
two full sheets of Arches cold press watercolor paper (22 x 30) @ 300#
your regular watercolor gear ~ paints, brushes, sketchbook and a firm board to work on with two large bulldog clips.

Jane Miluski's Website Jane has co-taught plein air workshops in Tuscany, Scotland and Sicily, and has taken groups to Jamaica to paint on location. She also conducts workshops for groups in the tri-state area. Her work was featured in “American Artist” magazine in 2004. A signature member of both the Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Societies, she was the first woman elected president of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society.
