A mosaic is a pattern or picture made using many small objects (traditionally stone, tile and glass) that are arranged in a design and attached to a surface, then the spaces in between the objects are filled in with grout resulting in a solid flat surface.
In this workshop you will have the unique opportunity to learn the process of creating your own colorful, beautiful mosaic. We will learn how to compose, design and make a piece of mosaic art from start to finish to take home and enjoy. We will start by making a small frame or trivet, but with this new skill, you can make anything from a table top, to a stepping stone for your garden!
