An intense short course devoted to the joy of watercolor painting. Students will learn to create watercolor paintings that have impact through the use of vibrant clear color, excellent values and great compositions. Students will explore painting on both traditional watercolor paper and Strathmore Plate Bristol. Students will paint from their own sketches, photos or still life set ups. Students will explore the history of watercolor and those artists using the medium today. This workshop is appropriate for beginners who need to learn all the basics through intermediate students.
