Using templates and impressing patterns to hand build ceramic forms.

Working with clay templates is a rewarding means to and end. Sensuous shapes and graceful forms appear effortlessly. Boxes magically sprout fitting lids with cool handles and cups find comfort in the hands of their creator. Masterfully built trays emerge from ordinary clay slabs full of surface interest enhanced by just the right finish...and it's all brought about by beginning with a simple template!
