Experimental Watercolor (from kitchen table to easel)!

Come play with paint!  We will use watercolor and paper as our base materials while learning techniques that add layers, interest, and depth. Each day will feature a new famous artist (both past or present) and we will interpret and reimagine works and subjects inspired by that artist.   This class will invite lots improvisation and imagination.  You will be encouraged to find materials around your home to use for making art and discover new mediums you can incorporate into your watercolor paintings.  

Instructor: Quincy Carpenter

  • This is an online class taking place via Zoom. Zoom is free and easy to use! Registration for this class will close on Thursday, July 16 at 12 pm. Zoom meeting information will be sent prior to your class starting. A base of supplies for this course are included in tuition and can be picked the Friday before class starts.
  • Materials from home will include things like sponges, Qtips, forks, paper plates, rocks, crayons.  
  • Above and beyond supplies include:  Aquarelles, sharpies, bamboo brush
  • REFUND POLICY
  • Refunds will be made on the following schedule:
  • 14 days before the first class100% Refund (Less a $25 Processing fee)
  • 7 days before the first class 80% Refund (Less a $50 Processing fee)
  • NO REFUNDS THEREAFTER.
