Join us for a safe, physically distant yoga class is our spacious Duke Gallery!

This yoga offering is open to all levels of experience. We will move with intention while focusing on body sensation and breath. Each class will include a seated position (in a chair) with an option to move to a standing or floor pose. We will flow from pose to pose with breath and intention while working on strength and balance. Each class will end with a short meditation.

Movement and meditation will be one hour and the last 15 minutes will be open for questions and discussion about our practice.

  • Please Note:  This class is planned as an in person class and we expect that it will run the full semester in person.  However, there is an ongoing need to adhere to guidance and safety practices in order to safely manage the COVID-19 situation.  The guidelines from state government and public health authorities change as time progresses and the CAC may need to make adjustments accordingly.  It is possible that this class will transition to an online format at some point during the semester.  In this case, tuition refunds will not be issued unless the CAC is unable to provide the same number of class sessions as initially planned either in person or in a remote format.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water, a yoga mat and any other props that you like to use for your yoga practice (blanket, blocks, etc.)

Jennifer started practicing yoga over eight years ago as a way to help with anxiety. After attending her first class she was knew it was the right decision and over the years her practice has become a huge part of her life. In 2015 she completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training at Enso in Media PA. She believes yoga can be a practice for everybody and strives to make her classes accessible for anyone who wished to attend. She teaches power yoga, gentle flow yoga and vinyasa style. Modifications are always offered and encouraged. In April of 2018 Jennifer completed a certification program in Trauma-Informed Lens Yoga. She believes that each individual who attends her classes is the expert of their own body. Jennifer hopes her classes allow for opportunities to explore in movement as well as in stillness.
