Join us for a unique class in the cyanotype process, also called sunprinting, in celebration of the changing seasons!
Cyanotype is both a printmaking process and the oldest photographic process. It was developed in the 1800's as a way to create multiple copies in an easy and cost-efficient way. Using UV light, you will create magical blue pieces of art!
In this workshop, students will learn the history of the cyantopye process and how to create your own unique botanical prints. All materials and plant matter are provided, but you are welcome to bring objects to experiment with (glass containers, dried flowers, coins, etc.). At the end of the workshop, students will understand the process and have many beautiful works to take home. All levels welcome!
