Do you like moving to music? No previous experience or partner needed! West Coast Swing is a social dance that's popular around the world with dancers from their teens to their 90's. We dance to a wide range of music from Pop, Rock, and Soul to Hip Hop, Country, and more. This 6-week course will teach you the 3 basic West Coast Swing patterns that will get you dancing with great glee!

Registering for this class also registers you for the open dance studio following the class, which runs from 8 - 10 pm. If you are not interested in attending the open dance portion, please register for the class only option.

  • Masks are required for this class.
Please Note:  This class is planned as an in person class and we expect that it will run the full semester in person.  However, there is an ongoing need to adhere to guidance and safety practices in order to safely manage the COVID-19 situation.  The guidelines from state government and public health authorities change as time progresses and the CAC may need to make adjustments accordingly.  It is possible that this class will transition to an online format at some point during the semester.  In this case, tuition refunds will not be issued unless the CAC is unable to provide the same number of class sessions as initially planned either in person or in a remote format.
  • Masks are required for this class. Please wear clothes you are comfortable moving in and comfortable shoes, preferably with a non-rubber sole to help you slide. The instructor will have dance socks available to slide over sneakers if that's your most comfy option.
