Course Description

Pysanky Eggs are the beautiful Ukrainian Eggs we see at Easter. The process is so easy you will be surprised at how fast you will make a beautiful egg. It’s just like playing connect the dots. We will draw patterns on the eggs with bees wax then dip them in dyes to layer on the colors.

Please a $15 materials fee payable to the instructor.
Please Note: This class is planned as an in person class and we expect that it will run the full semester in person. However, there is an ongoing need to adhere to guidance and safety practices in order to safely manage the COVID-19 situation. The guidelines from state government and public health authorities change as time progresses and the CAC may need to make adjustments accordingly. It is possible that this class will transition to an online format at some point during the semester. In this case, tuition refunds will not be issued unless the CAC is unable to provide the same number of class sessions as initially planned either in person or in a remote format.

Nadia's Webpage Working as an Interior Designer for more than thirty years has given me a love of grace and line that I try to incorporate into the pieces that I throw. I consider myself not just a potter, but an artist trying to find beauty in the clay. Recently, I have been experimenting with combining my love of hand building, and sculpting clay with the pieces I throw on the wheel. This has taken my work into a new and exciting level of design. I believe we never stop learning. Everyday is a new day to explore the clay, and learn how far we can push and pull our way to a beautiful work of art.
