Join Sue Trembeth and Dori McClennen for a collaborative workshop covering Zentangle Basics and Metal Etching. Students will create a Zentangle design and will then transfer that design onto copper using metal etching techniques.

Schedule:
10 AM - 12 PM: Zentangle Basics with Sue Trembeth in the Billiards Room
12 PM - 3 PM: Metal Etching with Dori McClennen in the Jewelry Studio

  • Additional material fees will be paid to instructors at the workshop in cash:
$12 materials fee paid to Sue
$15 materials fee paid to Dori

  • Please Note: This class is planned as an in person class and we expect that it will run the full semester in person.  However, there is an ongoing need to adhere to guidance and safety practices in order to safely manage the COVID-19 situation.  The guidelines from state government and public health authorities change as time progresses and the CAC may need to make adjustments accordingly.  It is possible that this class will transition to an online format at some point during the semester.  In this case, tuition refunds will not be issued unless the CAC is unable to provide the same number of class sessions as initially planned either in person or in a remote format.
  • Extra fine black sharpie, apron, closed toed shoes and rubber gloves.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and was a middle school teacher in Philadelphia before my children were born. Now as a second career, I'm teaching Beginning Jewelry at the CAC and occasional workshops at Blue Santa Beads. I enjoy taking Interweave classes from teachers around the country in my spare time and I've also dabbled in oil painting, watercolors, and pottery.
