Are you looking for a way to relax, a way to unplug from your phone and gadgets, to focus your thoughts, or nurture your creativity and design skills? Then Zentangle is for you! In this class, you will learn the basics of Zentangle's creative and relaxing method of art. By using this method, easy-to-learn repetitive patterns (called tangles), and deliberate pen strokes, you will create an abstract piece of art while entering into a relaxed and focused meditative state. You do NOT need to know how to draw! In this class you'll learn basic Zentangle patterns and shading to give them more dimension.

  • A $12 cash material fee will be paid to the instructor at the workshop.

Please Note:  This class is planned as an in person class and we expect that it will run the full semester in person.  However, there is an ongoing need to adhere to guidance and safety practices in order to safely manage the COVID-19 situation.  The guidelines from state government and public health authorities change as time progresses and the CAC may need to make adjustments accordingly.  It is possible that this class will transition to an online format at some point during the semester.  In this case, tuition refunds will not be issued unless the CAC is unable to provide the same number of class sessions as initially planned either in person or in a remote format.
  • All materials provided by instructor- required material fee of $12.
