Wheel Thrown Pottery - Morning

With patience, focus and the instructor’s guidance, the potter’s wheel will become your “best friend.” Students will have the opportunity and gain the skills to work either small or large to create original decorative and functional pieces of ceramic art.

  • Clay is not included in lab fee.  Clay purchased with a class needs to be taken in the semeter it was purchased.  Clay purchases do not carry from one semester to another.

    Students who wish to fire work in the soda kiln and are currently registered in a class that is not soda kiln specific can do so for an additional $20 fee/semester. Only available to students who have previously taken a soda kiln specific class or workshop at the CAC. Please call or stop by the office to sign up.
  • Students should bring a notebook, a 2 – 2 ½ gallon bucket with lid, an old towel, and some basic clay tools (which can be purchased at CAC).
