Zentangle Embedded Letters

Fall Workshop | This course has been canceled

In this class you will use Zentangle “tangles” (patterns) and techniques to draw and then embellish letters of the alphabet. These make beautiful personalized artworks for yourself or a gift for someone else.

The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn fun and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured, repeated patterns. It increases focus and creativity and provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal wellbeing.

Some benefits and uses include relaxation, simple and quick access to mindfulness, and it has been shown to help with insomnia, chronic pain, anxiety, self-esteem, panic attacks and improves fine motor skills, relieves stress, and is great for team building.

No artistic ability is required. It is helpful if you have done  a basic Zentangle class but it is not essential. If you can hold a pen and write your name you’ll be just fine!

  • Please bring your Zentangle kit with you to class, if you are new to Zentangle, a kit will be provided for $12.00. You will also need a white gelly roll pen #10.  If you do not have one , the teacher will provide one for $2.00.
