Course Description

Discover the hidden tricks and techniques that can elevate your handbuilt work. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced ceramicist, there are always things you don't know and small adjustments that can make your process easier, more efficient, and lead to a more polished final piece.

Special Notes

Clay is not included in the supply fee. Clay purchased with your registration needs to be pick up in this semester. Clay puchases do not carry over from one semester to the next when purchased with the class. Clay can be purchased in the office as needed throughout the semester.

Students who wish to fire work in the soda kiln and are currently registered in a class that is not soda kiln specific can do so for an additional $20 fee per semester. You will be sent instructions with specifics for firing in the Soda Kiln at the beginning of the semester. Please call or stop by the office to sign up.

Nadia's Webpage Working as an Interior Designer for more than thirty years has given me a love of grace and line that I try to incorporate into the pieces that I throw. I consider myself not just a potter, but an artist trying to find beauty in the clay. Recently, I have been experimenting with combining my love of hand building, and sculpting clay with the pieces I throw on the wheel. This has taken my work into a new and exciting level of design. I believe we never stop learning. Everyday is a new day to explore the clay, and learn how far we can push and pull our way to a beautiful work of art.

We must have this form filled out, signed and returned to the CAC office BEFORE the start of your child's Spree session to be admitted.
