Course Description

Day one will find us printing on a Geli plate and also a plexi glass sheet. We will dye and manipulate papers in order to create collage materials for our artwork. We will be printing with acrylic paint, so please bring colors that you like. The next two days will be spent transforming that paper and more into wonderful pieces of art! If you own a Geli plate, please bring it along.

Required Supplies

Gel medium, acrylic paint. fluid acrylic inks,
Watercolor paper or canvas to work on.
Stamps that you would like to use in printmaking.
Rubber gloves.
Collage material.
Paper for printmaking such as tracing paper, tissue papers, newsprint
A Brayer or roller for printing.
Paper towels for cleanup.
Paint brushes or joint applicators to paint with.
Plastic tablecloth.

Nancy Barch's Website Nancy has taught at CAC for over 12 years. She teaches both yearly classes and workshops of various media. As a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and the Philadelphia Water Color Society, the work of Delaware County Artist Nancy has traversed the United States. She has garnered a number of coveted awards for her work in a variety a media including Best of Show in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.
