Drawing with Mixed Media
Winter Class | Registration opens Wednesday, November 5, 2025 12:01 AM EST
Let's spend a few Winter days exploring drawing in combination with various mixed media processes (ex: paint, ink, pencil, collage, printed textured papers). We'll start with sketches to sharpen observation skills using real objects or photos for reference. Each week will focus on a different subject for inspiration. Then spin-off to develop artwork based on creative interests and personal style. *You are welcome to bring a snack for break time.
- Students should bring the following materials to class:
- 9x12 Mixed Media Paper (preferred: Strathmore tablet, 400 series, 184 lb, wet & dry media).
- #2 pencil (or any art pencil set you may have).
- Eraser.
- Black Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Marker.
- Students may choose to bring additional materials after the first class based on personal interest.
