Speedy Carvin' for Etching & PMC
Summer Workshop | Registration opens Wednesday, May 6, 2026 6:00 AM EDT
Carve your own block print and then utilize it to etch base metal and to stamp precious metal clay to fire in class. Suitable for beginner or intermediate students. Open to adults and teens age 16+.
*Please note a $20 material fee is collected by the instructor on first day of this workshop. (The instructor materials fee covers shared access to Speedball block printing supplies, PMC tool kits, base metals, and instructor's etchant.)
- One package of any size Art Clay Silver, rubber kitchen gloves, apron, closed toe shoes, hair in ponytail, and a $20 material fee paid to instructor on first day of class. You are welcome to pack a lunch or go out for lunch.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and was a middle school teacher in Philadelphia before my children were born. Now as a second career, I'm teaching Beginning Jewelry at the CAC and occasional workshops at Blue Santa Beads. I enjoy taking Interweave classes from teachers around the country in my spare time and I've also dabbled in oil painting, watercolors, and pottery.
