Comics! for ages 9-12
Fall Class | Registration opens Wednesday, August 5, 2026 6:00 AM EDT
Students will be introduced to the conventions and structure of comic design and use these ideas to create comics based on prompts as well as their own ideas. This course is less about teaching the techniques of drawing and more about how to effectively use drawings to communicate a narrative/story. If your child is interested in making comics, this would be a great class for them!
- Guardians must complete a Student Information Form for each child (below the age of 18) attending a semester class or workshop.
Form URL: https://reg127.imperisoft.com/Pages/System/File.aspx?id2=6556
Fill out, sign, and email the form to info@communityartscenter.org. This form must be returned to the CAC office BEFORE the first class date.
If your child will not be attending a class please let the office know by calling 610-566-1713 x11 or emailing info@communityartscenter.org.
- All materials will be provided in class.
*The $15 materials fee paid during registration covers a sketchbook for each child which they can keep, and access to other art supplies in class.
