Capturing the Moment - The Joy of Ink & Watercolor Sketching
Fall Class | Available
Enjoy the pleasure of using ink and watercolor in the manner of “urban sketching” and visual journaling, interpreting the essence of a scene with casual, lively marks and a loose application of color.
Ink provides structure, sidestepping the difficulties of defining edges in watercolor. Watercolor adds life and vibrance. Both can be used in a lively and spontaneous way.
Build your confidence in sketching what you see with basic inking tools and a simplified color palette, — together they are a lightweight, easily portable medium for capturing the light and mood of a scene without being overwhelmed.
Join us for Capturing the Moment, a class designed to pull you out of your routine and into the observant, meditative, and endlessly rewarding practice of ink and watercolor sketching.
