Adult Ceramics: Wheel-throwing & Hand-building (Thursday 9AM-12PM)

This semi-private ceramics class focuses on learning and developing hand-building and wheel-throwing skills. Students will receive individualized instruction based on where they are. Open to novice students and students with experience. Scheduling: 5 weeks of class plus an additional glazing class session. The glazing session will be held on November 2'cnd between 10AM-3PM. Individual slots will be booked in class.
- PLEASE NOTE: This class starts a week later than other FYA classes (9/19). Class fee includes Instruction for 5 series classes + a 1 glazing class 2 weeks after class ends on a Saturday. We use brown stoneware clay and studio-made glazes. 20 Lbs of Clay with glazes and firing costs included in the fee. Additional clay is available at a per pound cost. All pieces are limited to 8” in height and width. The studio provides basic tools; however, you are welcome to bring your own Kemper Pottery Tool Kit.
Michelle Ramadan
Michelle is a small-batch artisan potter and owner of Meesh Pottery. She has multiple years of classroom teaching experience. She works out of her home studio in Melrose and loves all things pottery!
