This class is designed for students with some clay experience and an idea (or ideas!) for a piece that they might like to create. Students will be able to build on current knowlege and learn new techniques to help them further their projects. We'll provide materials, firing, and instruction to help artists plan a project that can be completed over the course of this four-week class.

Alessia O’Brien is a ceramicist and printmaker based in Melrose, MA. Their approach to art is tactile, organic, and fun, with a soft spot for functional work. They graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2016, and have been a working artist since.
