For the longest time, artists have used self portraits to reveal different parts of their identities and document pivotal moments in their lives. In this class, we will be looking at a different artist each week who used self portraits in a variety of ways, and working off of prompts inspired by these artists. We will then create our own self portraits based on what we learned, all while having open conversations about growth and expression through art.

Artists may work in any 2-D supplies and media that they are comfortable with - such as drawing materials, acrylics, watercolor paints, or collage.
