Playing with Point of View

Point of view does so much more than define who is telling the story—it creates the very texture of your piece. In this workshop, we’ll see how playing with point of view can help you shape how readers experience your story and feel about your characters. You’ll walk away with the three fresh starts to play with at home.

Guest facilitator Elizabeth Christopher’s essays and stories have appeared in The Writer, HuffPost, The Boston Globe Magazine, Obelus, and elsewhere. She works in the tech industry where her writing was selected as a 2020 ITSMA Marketing Excellence Award finalist. Elizabeth has an M.A. in English Composition and has taught writing to children and adults. She is the Writers Studio coordinator and an FYACS board member. She is currently working on a historical novel.
