When starting a new piece of writing, you might wonder, “Where should my story or essay begin?” In this session, we'll look at and try out different types of beginnings, and share practical tips for defeating that most terrifying of beasts: The empty page!

Our writing sessions are for new and seasoned writers. Come write with us in person using facilitator-guided prompts for inspiration. Please wear a mask and bring something to write with.

Note: we’re putting a new spin on our Sunday morning monthly writing sessions and trying out different days and times. Let us know what you think.
