In this month's Adult Writing Session, you're in for a treat with FYACS inaugural Writing and Teaching Fellow, Neema Avashia. In this workshop, writers will use essays by Brian Doyle and Aimee Nezhukumatathil as inspiration for writing about our relationships with the natural world. We’ll start by reading a few short essays. Then you’ll choose an object from nature–a plant or animal or place–that has meaning to you, and we will write flash essays of 500-750 words that explore the relationship between you and that element of nature.
