If you like miniature worlds full of magic, make believe, and maybe even fairies, this class is sure to spark your creativity! In this 7-week class, students will use a variety of materials and objects to build their mini world, complete with map drawing. Mini worlds can be built in pots, like fairy gardens, as well as shoe boxes, lunch boxes, and small vintage suitcases, with plenty of room for individual directions and creative choices! 

*Please note: this is a 5-week class, there will be no class 1/16 for MLK Jr Day

Alessia O’Brien is a ceramicist and printmaker based in Melrose, MA. Their approach to art is tactile, organic, and fun, with a soft spot for functional work. They graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2016, and have been a working artist since.
