The goal of this generative creative writing workshop is to dive past the thinking mind and into the creative flow behind our conscious thoughts.  Using work from some amazing contemporary poets as inspiration, we will tap into the beauty of the mundane, the power of this season of darkness, and get right into the body of the work.  My hope is that we will write and share 3-5 short pieces together.  Class is capped at 10 people to allow for time to share and connect.  

Alix Klingenberg is a Unitarian Universalist spiritual director, poet, and photographer. Drawing on the natural world and her own life, she believes in tending to the light and dark within each of us in equal measure. Alix regularly teaches poetry workshops and is excited to have a collection coming out with Central Ave Publishing in Oct 2023.
