Join us for a vacation week filled with creative challenges for artists of all levels!

For the first part of the day, students will work on small projects designed to test and challenge their creativity - we'll work on limited-color paintings, mystery materials sculptures, and more!

The group will then clean up for snack and go outside!

For the final part of the day, students will work on their main project for the week - Book Boxes! Students will be able to pick a theme and craft a box into a treasure chest, mini diorama, or anything of their choosing.

Please pack a nut-free snack and water bottle for your student, and note that this program will spend about an hour outside each day as long as it is safe to do so. Please send snow boots/snowpants/jackets/gloves as appropriate.

If your student is attending full-day, and is staying at the studio for the 12-1 hour, they MUST be registered for Lunch Bunch. The registration for Lunch Bunch is here.

This group will be facilitated by Chiara Pieri Tuesday-Thursday, and by Alessia O'Brien on Friday.

Alessia O’Brien is a ceramicist and printmaker based in Melrose, MA. Their approach to art is tactile, organic, and fun, with a soft spot for functional work. They graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2016, and have been a working artist since.
