PLEASE NOTE: We have split our theater programs into two age groups. Our morning Showstoppers program is geared toward ages 5-8 (K-2) and our afternoon Scene Stealers program is geared toward ages 9-11 (3-5, includes rising 6th graders). This listing is for our morning K-2 program.


For a full day of programming, students in grades K-2 MUST be registered for Full Day Lunch Bunch and PM Summer Studio The link to Full Day Lunch Bunch for the week of 7/24 This is the link to PM Summer Studio for the week of 7/24 Showstoppers is back for another amazing summer of creativity and active fun! Each week, our cast will use a different story as inspiration for our play. Your child will learn self-expression and confidence in this unique program filled with creative theater games, acting exercises and storytelling. Cast members will have a chance to develop their own characters and work as an ensemble to create a show. Our week will culminate with a live performance of our original play for you and special guests on Friday at 11:30 PM.

21 days prior to start date = full refund minus $25 processing fee per program
Within 21 days = 50% refund unless we can fill the spot, then $25 pr

Stewart, Mara

Mara is an experienced teaching artist, director, choreographer, and performer. She has spent the past six years working with children in performing arts education, including virtual theatre classes and camps. Mara is passionate about theatre arts, working with kids, and fostering a creative and safe learning environment for all students. Mara received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, and has performed professionally throughout Chicago and the D.C. Metro area. She spent the last year teaching children’s theatre and directing in the greater Boston area. Her DC Metro area experience includes directing and teaching for Encore Stage & Studio and Mount Vernon Community Children's Theatre. Some of her favorite acting roles include Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, The White Witch in Narnia, and Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress.
