Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program

Prepare for a rewarding career in emergency medical services with LSUA's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program. This comprehensive evening program combines classroom instruction with hands-on skills training to prepare students to provide emergency medical care in a variety of prehospital settings.

Throughout the program, students will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to assess patients, respond to medical and traumatic emergencies, and work effectively as part of an emergency response team. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam.
