This course is designed to follow the standards set forth by the Dept. of Transportation. Successful completion of this course & the National Registry exam will certify you as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. The objective of this course is to provide the education needed to start a career in EMS. You will gain the knowledge & practical experience to make competent decisions regarding medical and trauma patients in emergent situations.

  • Your tuition includes the 120-hour course, 18 hours of clinical instruction, FISDAP fees for the initial exam and the Emergency Care & Transportation of the Sick & Injured book.

  • Course meets Mondays and Wednesdays and one Saturday a month. This is a Hybrid style class that incorporates both on-line and in-person learning. All scheduled classes (in person and online) are required to successfully complete this course.

  • CPR is a Prerequisite--You must show proof of current CPR certification
  • There is a reduced registration fee for those students needing to take Basic Life Support (CPR)
