Advanced Cardiac Life Support Initial Provider

This 12-hour course is designed for healthcare providers who direct, or participate in the resuscitation of patients either in - or out- of the hospital. The goal of this course is to improve the quality of care provided to adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies by training to American Heart Association guidelines, algorithms and pharmaceutical interventions. Participants must commit to pre-course preparation and be skilled in basic dysrhythmia identification prior to the course.
- IMPORTANT: If you are uncomfortable with basic dysrhythmia identification, consider taking ECG Review for ACLS. This class is being offered prior to this course (from 0800-1115) allowing you to take the initial course immediately after completion.
- The Initial course starts at 1200 on Day 1 and 0800 on Day 2.
The ACLS Provider Manual is required for this class.
