This HYBRID ACLS REFRESHER COURSE is for participants who wish to renew their unexpired ACLS certification. 

This course option is made available to healthcare workers who have proficiency with ACLS material from previous ACLS classes or regular exposure to advanced cardiac life support in the course of their work.  Attendees should be confident that they can pass a written exam and demonstrate competency during skills check-off. 

This class model requires attendees to complete a didactic component through the AHA website, prior to attending an in-person skills session at the training center. Preparation, including both the learning modules (approx. 3 hours) and the pre-course assessment is required. Those who have not previously attended an ACLS refresher, or those who do not feel confident that they could pass the exams in class, are encouraged to find a fully in-person ACLS refresher class option through our registration website.

Participants must be familiar with ECG interpretation, ACLS algorithms, and medications used in the algorithms. Those who fail to complete the pre-course work may be asked to re-schedule the class at the discretion of the instructors.

Renewal is every two years.
