Under the leadership of Dorothy Habecker, this group takes a 4-6 mile hike on the third Friday of each month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Members do a variety of hikes, and almost every one is different. They revisit special places to find spring ephemerals, view fall colors, and catch the rhododendrons in bloom. There are usually between 15 and 20 people on a hike. Hikes are usually within a 20 mile radius of the Bellefonte/State College area and are selected about one week in advance of the hike. Beginners are welcome!
