Good poetry helps us to understand and appreciate the important moments and events of our lives. We'll read a mix of memorable poets and discuss important topics with the aim of acquainting you with poems that speak to your concerns in very special ways — poems you will want to read again and again. We'll divide our attention between 20th-century classics and noteworthy contemporaries.

Instructor: Michael Bourgo is the co-leader of OLLI Writers SIG and leads a local memoir group. He recently completed a memoir of his childhood. He is also an active poet.
