This course will be a discussion and Q&A session on home repairs, dealing with contractors, dealing with stores, and the dos and don’ts of owning a home and keeping it in top shape for both physical enjoyment and resale value. Bring your list of questions and DIY concerns to the course and enjoy the discussion topics and input others will provide.

Instructor: Jim Kerhin left the U.S. Air Force as a Sgt with 7 (skill) Level as an aerospace environmental systems technician. He bought his first home in 1974 and began doing home repairs and remodeling. Jim retired from SEARS as the operations manager in a 195,000-sq.-ft. store where he was in charge of building operations and maintenance. He enjoys his craft and helping others in their DIY tasks. With almost 50 years of home repair experience, Jim could be the source of a wealth of knowledge to many homeowners with questions and problems of their own.

  • Bring your list of questions about your home maintenance problems and memories of how you solved some of the more unusual problems you've had with your homes.
