Elaine will share more recipes and cooking techniques to demonstrate the wealth of vegan possibilities, no matter how many times a week you are looking for inspired plant-based meals. Discussions of ingredients, basic preparation, and flavor profiles will be included. Enjoy a vegan meal prepared during the session. Fee includes $10 for food.

We'll have 2 hours of instruction and demonstration, while Elaine discusses the how and why of eating a whole food plant-based diet, answers questions, and creates a delicious lunch that the class will enjoy together at the end of class!

Elaine Meder-Wilgus owns Webster’s Bookstore Cafe in vegetarian/vegan cafe in downtown State College, PA. As someone who eats a plant-based diet, she knows the power of food to expand wellness and works to help others find the same joy she knows! A creative chef, she celebrates the variety of plants available in nutrient-dense meals.

Elaine is currently completing her certification with Food Revolution Network to be a Whole Food Plant-Based Health Coach. Passionate about changing our toxic food culture, she is excited to bring new knowledge to her class!

  • Any other specific schedule needs or conflicts?
I have a crazy catering schedule, so it will be hit-or-miss with specific dates. It works well to start the class at 10 am and to end at 1 pm. We take a break at noon and eat the lunch that I've made together at 12:15 until the end of class.

If you could give me 3 dates to consider, I can get it onto my calendar and avoid conflicts once I know when the class would happen. Thank you!
