In this two-hour course, participants will gain an understanding of 3D printing, starting with the design stage. Each participant will first learn the basics of TinkerCAD, a 3D design software, in order to create a simple model that will then be prepared for printing. Afterwards, discuss the printers themselves while bringing the digital design to reality.

Instructor: The Rivet, the newest branch of Discovery Space, is a 5,000-square-foot community workshop, named to reflect the intention to connect materials, people, ideas, and the means for anyone to make anything.
