Garden Stepping Stones

1 Session | Registration opens 3/3/25 8:00 AM EST

Join the fun of creating your own garden stepping stone. Stepping stones add color and personality to a garden and are great for keeping your garden soil healthy. Design it with beach glass, shells, flat glass beads, or personalized items (coins, toys, a shattered piece of a favorite vase or dish). Participants will create a design, mix cement in a plastic zip lock bag, pour it into a plastic form, and then press their design into the wet cement. Participants will take their stone home to let it dry after a few days before removing the form. Stepping stones add color and personality to a garden and are great for keeping your garden soil healthy.

Instructors: Lynn Williams is a retired physical therapist, living on the shores of Lake Erie. Lynn loves collecting beach glass and fossils when strolling the beach. As president of a garden club for four years, she has led many projects, including making stepping stones.

Debrah Dormandy has a social worker background. She was the director of special education in a large school district in Westchester County, NY. Course fee includes $5 for supplies.
