Introduction to Mat Pilates

Pilates is a non-impact mat class focusing on the core. Pilates was initially practiced by dancers for rehabilitation. Pilates requires participants to be on the floor. A yoga mat, towel, and water are all that are required.
Instructor: Roe Davis is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) personal trainer who has been involved in fitness for many years. Through ACE, she has also achieved senior fitness specialist and orthopedic exercise specialist. She works part-time at Fit for Play and leads Pilates courses for Centre Region Parks and Recreation and Wellness in Motion.
Course dates are Thursdays, April 10, 17, 24 and May 1.
